squid as transparent in RHEL 4
I installed squid 2.6 stable 17 on RHEL 4. But squid not run as transparent proxy whenever i installed same squid on fedor2 that worked fine as transparent proxy or proxy. Is it problem of RHEL4? Restrict Download Bandwidth
Hi All
I want to restrict download bandwidth per user or ip through squid or iptables. I want user can not get download speed more than 6k. I use 512K bandwidth. Anybody know and help me about it.

80 GB SATA HDD on FC2
Hi All
Can i install FC2 on 80 GB SATA Hard Drive? I try to install FC2 but SATA hdd not dected when created partition. Do i need additional driver for SATA or upgrade kernel. My kernel version is
2.6.5-1.358
Anybody knows and help me how can i install FC2 on 80 GB SATA.

Squid with proxy
salam
I use squid with transparent proxy. Everything work fine. When i use proxy in browser and open some website which use java applet could not be open with proxy. I want to allow these web site with proxy.

AoA! I installed squid-2.5.STABLE12. Everything work fine. when i restart machine afterthat i need to be manually start squid. I want to set squid to boot run level. secondly i start squid with ./squid command. I want to run start service with just (squid start) command. I add ./squid command to rc....
