gcc3.2.3 on an ia_64 (Itanium 2) machine running gcc2.96
Hello all -
I would like to know if anyone out there has tried something like this:
installed gcc 3.2.x on an Itanium2 running Advanced Server 2.1(ia_64)
against gcc2.96?
Is it possible to build gcc 3.2.x from the source against/using v2.96 compiler?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Thanks!
