wassulam,

PKLinux project is almost dead, I only developed that as a hobby
and stopped working on it since long :-( , it might be useful in
situations when you need to repair existing linux partitions or
have old computer where u want to run linux without doing
anything with hard disk.

I think with HTTP protocol you can set where to start
like
HTTP.ContentRangeStart= some byteoffset(say 10021)
say 10020 already been downloaded and resume starts

umash

umask is for determining default file permissions
type umask 0777
and then type touch test-file
then do ls -l test-file
you will found that test-file is root,group,world readable/writable/executable now.
