impliment LS, COPY, Rename, and so on commands with the help of bash shell scripting.. implementing it would just be using ls, cp, mv, and so on on a simple bash shell..but if you want to make your own shell that uses these functions, you mite be talking about C code that uses exec* command to exec...

There are a lot of posts that contain useful information about users experiences in configuration or installation ot tweaks. How about a new "Did you know" section for posts like this. Sometimes its hard for the admins too, to decide where to place such posts. Anyways, thats my 2 cents.

scp is a command line UTILITY, one of the features in PUTTY(PSCP). SSH is a protocol(just in case you think im confusing ssh with putty, perhaps i said it wrong or perhaps youre just a dimwit ). so, again in short . PUTTY can be used to transfer files. Im sorry for any confusion i mite have caused.

why dont you install the java packages from the site. They work fine.
