impliment LS, COPY, Rename, and so on commands with the help of bash shell scripting.. implementing it would just be using ls, cp, mv, and so on on a simple bash shell..but if you want to make your own shell that uses these functions, you mite be talking about C code that uses exec* command to exec...

by avesq? i think you mean .dat files..you can use mplayer to play all sorts of files..look up its installation, dont be hasty..get all the plugins first :), gaim..i dont think has the new msn proto support yet...try some other messengers. there are quite a lot of them out there ..and good as well.....

There are a lot of posts that contain useful information about users experiences in configuration or installation ot tweaks. How about a new "Did you know" section for posts like this. Sometimes its hard for the admins too, to decide where to place such posts. Anyways, thats my 2 cents.

scp is a command line UTILITY, one of the features in PUTTY(PSCP). SSH is a protocol(just in case you think im confusing ssh with putty, perhaps i said it wrong or perhaps youre just a dimwit :)). so, again in short . PUTTY can be used to transfer files. Im sorry for any confusion i mite have caused.

amsn0.83 is out...and they claim to have support for the new msn protocol. Lets see...http://amsn.sourceforge.net works fine...and i like the amac skin too:)

you can't use ssh for web site authentication. the fact that you mention ssh implies that you don't know what ssh is. please read up on stuff before posting buzzwords. you could be a little more polite :) and anyways..read the post carefully before replying. i think the app is a java client server ...
