Asalamoalaikum
what is stablization and development phase in linux kernel..? my modem hsp56 is not compatible with linux what i do .. :oops:
i read in norton linux book that hsp56 is not compatible wiht linux... i have redhat 8.0 ..? as well as i read in this book that some linux features are still controlled by linus trovalds...then what is the mean of open source????

Yes u r right . final authority for linux development holded by linus

but still thousand people contributed code make world polpular operating system and fastest too :)
