Art of Deception : ebook

Postby jargon » Tue Oct 28, 2003 9:11 am

I've come across an electronic version of Kevin Mitnick's : The Art Of Deception , if anyone is interested i've put it on my webserver:

Kevin Mitnick was the notorious hacker in the '80s-'90s (actually got more blame then he deserved)

Here's the link:
http://141.213.173.121/Docs/Art_Of_Deception.pdf

(That link should work)

P.S. If you grab the file just leave a message in this thread , just curious in how many people will hit my webserver which I have just recently set up on a old 200mhz box w/ Slack 9.0

Thanks,
Salam

Thanks again!

I did read it few years back and some time I wanted to trace its link for recomending to others as reading. This is very interesting wish if some one translated it into Urdu. BTW any trace of Fravia ? He stoped updating his site few years back, some time I do wonder about him and Tron's killers.

With Open Source we do not have these any more :)

I own a pre-press copy of The fugitive game. It's the best account of Mitnick's story I've ever read.

On a related note, aren't you glad we've got OSS to satisfy our computing curiosity instead of having to break into DEC's networks to do so? :)

oss existed when mitnick did his hacking. it didn't satisfy his curiosity, it won't work for some of us.
