Icecast - Mp3 streaming

Postby jargon » Sat Nov 08, 2003 8:40 am

Does anyone have experience with Icecast (streaming audio) or Mp3 streaming in general?

Im not asking how to install it but if anyone has used it before and if they think its good as perhaps compared to Nullsoft's ShoutCast.

And if anyone knows if the current Icecast software distribution supports Mp3 streaming , for some reason they dont talk about it on their main website (www.icecast.org). They only detail Ogg files.

Thanks
