Here's a complete list of all the HOWTOs in PDF format for linux. You can find almost anything related to Linux and you won't necessarily be needing any book right now if you are a newbie. And always remember that HOWTO is the best part of it, in Linux we use the return RTFM (Read The F*****g Manual) but however you still need any book, write to me. I shall personally email you for I have a large archive + you can download free books from the following URL:

If you know this one then you can sit in Linux Professional Institute exams [ will be held with in next six months for the first time in Pakistan ] 101. Other books are not bad but if your focus is LPI certification then go for this.
