i worked in xp and used urdu naskh font (see bbcurdu.com)

i can read the urdu text from firefox mozilla web browser running at gnu/linux

I also cannot see all charachters on FireFox. Maybe because I have arabic font installed and urdu has more alphabets than arabic so, i can't see missing alphabets..

download n install font from
http://www.creasol.co.uk/progs/naskh.exe
hope now u can see all alphabets
