The forum looks gr8.
But did u guys give Jelsoft Vbulletin a try? Its quite better than PhpBb.
I myself am running a BBS on vbulletin.

Well friend, its a private bbs for my institute.Its powered by php scripts and vbulettin on a linux based server.Andf b.t.w i have also installed vbportal on my bbs.

Ahmm... I highly recommend YaBB Gold.Its fast, plus you can modd it according to your requirments..

Hell yeah! I guess the phpbb is one of the ideas that mysteriously takes off. Anyway, Dagreat1, phpbb is working great for us. Trust me, I do take a lot of time evaluating different products before going for a particular one. We do have a lot of moderation options with phpbb, it's just that we haven't found a reason to use them.
