I am aware of only Sam's " Teach yourself Mandrake Linux in 24 hours " used to be available in Karachi and it was priced at Rs. 1600.00 after discount, that was last year. Did not buy as ver 8.0 was expected. Other then this not aware of any other book.
If you want [ I do not recommend, in my view it is waste of money ] then I can check here at book store and inform you.

I have 10 gigs of E-books... and there might be a mandrake one in there... i know i have a redhat e-book.
u can easily find the pirated books

aoa in lahore there r lots of pirated books i had seen regarding linux rh but for mandrake i dont remember.......if u r studing in any institute try to find nit there ...usually in libraries lots r books a available but ppl dont study them:)

Linux SA Survival Guide
Red Hat Linux Unleashed
Slackware Linux Unleashed, Third Edition

Since the topic is relevent, Does anyone know any good about for Unix/Linux command... Books that develop good understanding about commands that are commn to Unix and Linux? Also, I need a book that explain Linux as an Operating system in general i.e. no specific distro should be explained.
