Good News! I am also looking for Linux compatible modems and particularly 2 port KVM switches. I would appreciate if you could provide the information about what you offer, I have been approached by many with regard to modems but hardware modems are difficult to find in Karachi. I personally use a CNet 5614XE external modem which works like a breeze with any distro.

Look forward to your response.

Linux compatible modems are the ones which are hardware modems. Almost all external modems (with the exception few) are compatible with Linux. Internal modems (winmodems especially) will not work with Linux but some are known to work after certain drivers are installed, the one which comes to mind is motorola chipset.

I am using CNet 5614XE at the moment which is an external modem and works great with any distro.
