You can buy books from OpenTech or Tehnoed. Also ask them for paper date.

Best Regards.

aoa!!

If you are in Lahore contact Techno-ed at 042-5854881-5.

Exam conducted on demand basis,as specific number of students registered for exam.
So far many batches are in progress.
Hopes are that in next couple of month required number of students will be registered so, examiner will be called from India.

I visited to OpenTech address after no reply on phone.
Now there is no OpenTech they shutdown their all businesses including training.

So now just Techno-ed for RedHat training.

Does anyone know who is giving Sun Solaris 10 Certification Training (CX-310-200), (CX-310-202) & (CX-310-302) in Karachi. Even official or non-official any type of inst. But trainer should certified Sun Solaris 10.

Hi,

Redhat deals Pakistan under Redhat India, if you are looking to buy student guide for RHCE or other Redhat's Exam, you can buy directly from www.redhat.in, even this topic has been discussed several times in this forum, here we go:

if you want to just buy books then you have to pay round about Rs. 10000 plus shipment charges to redhat india for all three RHCE books, but you d'nt need to buy these student guide to sit in exam, if you have them, Redhat give you discount on exam fee. it almost covers the price so almost you get books for free only if you have plan to sit in exam.

second, you can go & take exam in any indian Redhat's exam center, i myself did from Jaipur , Rajistan india, you d'nt need to wait for any institute to offer exam in pakistan. it will cost you about 3 to 4 thousand rupees to travel from lahore on Bus service to Dehli, rest you define your destination, you must plan for a nearest center. here you can find all exam centers & their planned dates http://www.redhat.in/training/schedule.php3

hope it will help you.

cheers

As far as RHCE books are concerned I recently bought,

Redhat Certified Engineer Linux Study Guide 5th Edition
by Tata-McGraw Hill

its available in Urdu Bazar, Karachi, I myself bought it from Bismilllah Book Store in Urdue Bazar for Rs. 850. Remember this book is not for beginners but it will surely help you prepare for RHCE if you have some prior experience of working on Redhat.

@Nayyar

You're right its better to take exam in India but the main problem is of getting the visa.
