Getting Problem in Mandrake 9.2
AoA,
It looks like you are getting these messages on the Package selection screen during installation process. These are the 'dependencies' needed by Emacs to install. To overcome this, follow these instructions.
1. Boot from your Mandrakes' CD, start the DrakeX (Mandrake installation Wizard) by typing 'expert'.
2. When you start DrakX using the 'expert' command, the DrakX asks you what to do at almost every step. So, at one point before package selection, it will ask you which CDs do you have. Like supplementry CD, Commercial CD, Source CD1, Source CD2 etc. Uncheck those which you dont have. In this way you are telling DrakX exactly which CDs you have. So, it won't install anything else which you dont have on your CDs. You will be required to put those CDs which you checked during installation.
This should help your problem, otherwise your Media must be damaged.
