PK LINUX not running

i downloaded the pk linux from this site and then when i unzipped it at C:\pk linux
then restarted in msdos mode and entered in the pk linux directory
and then gave the command "start.bat". but after booting the kernel
it said "unable to mount root fs on blah blah".
the file system of my C drive was fat32 i also tried on fat16 .
i have tried a lot of times .

now i can boot linux with "loadlin" from windows98.
but the problem in pklinux is this that
root=/dev/loop0
the root file system is in the form of an .img file.
so how can we give kernel option to boot from it?
