Assalam O Alaikum

What you need in your scenerio is Bridging of the two networks ...... You can do it either on the windows side or the linux side ... ... thats what i found while searching around .. I did it in linux too but it was far more difficult lol :p anyways the link is

http://www.j51.com/~sshay/tcpip/routing/routing.htm

what it states is that you will be needing a server / client with 2 nics, that can act as a router between the two subnets ... rest is given in the details...

try it and let me know if it works  :)

cheers

aoa

when there r 2 or more networks then u have to use a router in between
router's work is to communicate between more than one network either it can be a router device or it can be a dedicated pc haveing nic belong ot 2 differne t networks

good luck.reply back when u r done

if, what protocol are you using for file sharing? I have no idea about NFS, but for SMB, you'll want to set up a box as a WINS server and have all the boxes use that for name resolution.
