dual booting win98, win2k and winxp is very easy
you dont posted your partition structure
but when you install linux it will not distrub your existing OS,s because they are on the boot sector of your primary dos partition. in other words your C drive and in linux /dev/hda?
for linux you need atleast 2 partitions one root partition and one swap.
better to make one boot, one root and one swap total three partitions.
made them at any free space or cut any space from any fat32 partition through linux FDISK.
then remember to install lilo or grub on MBR.
then you will see 2 options
1. linux
2.dos
and under dos section you will be able to see 3 more options
1.win98
2.win2k
3.winxp
but remember one thing that you dont made any change in partition structure because then your boot loader of windows may have old address and the partitions number will be changed.
