which Linux flavour is best for making server

Hello All.
I wish you would be nice and healthy as ever as worth.it's getting so worst using windows i wanna need some change but all in vain less knowledge of using linux i can't satisfy myself.....hey guys from where to learn linux from novice to proferssional.....if any help u can do regarding that favour so verythankfull to u specailly dont forget to write about my subject answer because it is also important thing to know....

there is no one answer to your question. i recommend debian or ubuntu, i'm sure someone else will recommend centos or rhel or suse.

and then someone else will recommend gentoo or slackware.

just avoid fedora core.

Hello All.
thanx for the reply please kidly do tell me from where i purchase debian linux cd becuase now a days rainbow centre use thrid class quality some times it woprks sometimes it will not so please can u recommend me becuase u are also using linux and u know very well thats why i share this thing with u guys....

I would obviously recommend Tiny Sofa or Start Com Enterprise Server.
*BSD is my prefered choise obviously.

Everyone have different choices. no one can claims for any distro that it is only best distro.

fedora core has a lot of bleeding edge technology that makes it unsuitable for a stable server. it's also not easy to upgrade from release to release, unlike ubuntu or debian.

hay thanx to all members for the quickest replies.ok got it now i use first slackware and then freebsd.so my question i am not going rainbow centre now a days becuase of low quality of cds.does linuxpakistan sells cds if yes so plz let me know i will purchase it...
