Please check whether these devices are supported under the kernel on Redhat 6 and Xfree86 or not. Is there any particular reason why you're using such an antique version?

Sis900 nic support is included in kernel 2.2.15 and later.
the files are usually in:

Since u are using such an old version of redhat6 which has the kernel less than 2.2.15 version, therefore i guess u will have to use a new kernel which is 2.2.15 or later or use the new version of redhat.

So you have two options:

1.To download the latest kernel from , and recompile your kernel to the latest version
with support for your hardware and sis chipsets.

2.Install Redhat 9 Which has kernel 2.4.20-8 which has the support for your hardware. All you will need to do is to install redhat 9.

I recommend u to use option 2 i.e to install the latest version of redhat.

Same goes for ur 5595 vga.

You can also Check the changelogs at to see which kernel has support for your hardware.

At this moment the latest stable of the kernel is 2.4.22 and 2.6.0-test4 is the latest beta version of the kernel.
