Apache on Dynamic IP

ASALAM-O-ALIKUM


how are you.

I am a Dialup User I have installed a APACHE 2.2.3 .

I used IP address in the domain during the the installation ( Because I dont know how I get the domian ). Now the problem is when I connect again the internet my IP is not same as I were put during the installation so please tell me the configuration how and where I put the new IP or every time I get the IP from ISP to run my APACHE

Please tell me this on Linux as well as Windows.

Use services like http://www.dyndns.org or http://www.no-ip.com
They also provide scripts which will help your machine to register automatically.

what if you can ask your isp for a static ip ?

Yeah, If he do not have any problem in paying extra bucks to his ISP :)
