This is quite easy if printer is on windows machine and shared.

1. under fedora run

# service cups start
# chkconfig cups on

2. now open your browser with URL

3. click printers >> add printer (prompt username passwd. supply root user and passwd)

4. write something in name and description

5. select "windows printer via samba"

6. in device URL write any one from below three which suited you.

6.1 smb://workgroup/windowsnetbiosname/printersharename
6.2 smb://username:passwd@workgroup/windows ... rsharename
6.3 smb://username:passwd@windowsnetbiosnam ... rsharename

7. select printer brand (HP in your case)

8. Selct appropriate printer driver (remember! if your printer is not included in list you must have to install the driver for your printer otherwise there may be printing problem.)
