Eterm for redhat 8

Postby Saadi » Sat Sep 06, 2003 2:41 am

Is there any package that allows transparant xterm window capability in redhat 8? info on xterm backgrouds, transparant images used in xterms, etc. would be helpful too.

Thanks!

Saadi,
Try konsole (KDE Console). That does transparency.

Eterm or Xterm?....
with Eterm transparency is very easy....Xterm..i think youd be better of using aterm if its just the transparency you want..another good terminal is the "multi-gnome-terminal" it is very powerful, comes witha lot of features....a little buggy still..for heavy use..but try it ...you mite like it
