Help wanted for Fedora core-6

Hye all!!,,

Finally im up on fedocra core-6 too however :
1- My Modem not working:Conexant HDA D110 V.92 modem
2- wireless card detected but not connecting
3- DVD is not runing on totum

I also dont know how to to install the drivers of the above mentioned hardware.


There are many other issues will discuss when i get these resolved.

Yeah, you are right, its required alot of effort some times, like

For WireLess Card -> if detected so seach on google how to configure it.
For Modem -> by default it will not work, you have search for driver or purchase
US-Robotics, hardware modem's is always good rather than software
modem.
For DVD Player -> Try xine, but mplayer is best.

Hye all!!

Atlast i configured my modem . But linuxant asks for money to get license key for my 56k modem. Otherwise it will and still working on 14.4kbps. Can anyone suggest will DSL or lan will work fine and will it be lenghtly or complicated?. Secondly firefox asks for plugins for flash and java where i can find these?

I have started loving linux not cauz it pains but it really pains...

however make me learn too.

yes, "dsl or lan" works out of the box.
