Fedora Core 4 Problem

AOA All,

I have installed FC4 on my machine with Windows Dual Boot. FC4 runs first time without any problem but when i restart the machine with FC4. It will stuck at loading time and giving that "Starting HAL Deomen".

If some one told me the solution i will be thankful to him.

can you boot up in single-user mode? does that work?

Its giving me the same problem.
I have allready installed it again but the same problem exist.

I am using FC4 x86 Architecture.

Motherboard: D101GGc
CPU: 2.13GHz Intel
RAM: 256 Kingston
HDD: 40GB SATA HDD

yes, i have allready read this link

and check the xorg.conf file configuration, there is not any difference. but still the HAL Deamon creating problem.

boot with cd and try to boot with rescu mode

AOA,
I have allready check the rescue mode it is working, but i dont know the exect changes required to run HAL Daemon.
If you know help me.

upgrade to fc6 or fc7. you'll find that whatever bug you're running into is probably fixed.
