apt-get installation on RHEL5

Hello,,
I installed RHEL5 on my machine.Now i need to install apt-get on RHEL5.By default yum is available for RHEL5.but iam not register user of RHEL5 thats why its not working.please give me some solution.its urgent.

your two main choices are

- use centos instead of rhel
- or pay for rhel's support

installing the apt tools won't get you updates to rhel5.

I have not played with rhel-5 too much , but i guess that you can try the apt4rpm for redhat may be it will work

move on ubuntu or debian or any debian based distro...
porting apt in RH is not a good idea.

i tried an internal modem once, but it hurt when i walked. will the installation serial hurt, too? if so, i don't want to try it.

Just add the repos of fresh rpm and livna and you will not have any need to be registered to get their support.

you can use Fedora core 8, but personal i prefer Debian or Ubuntu or Pclinuxos. or if you wanna go hardcore, Gentoo.
