Post by Zaheer »

AA,

I have installed Fedora 7 on dell optiplex 320 but not running.I think coz of SATA.which is the best distro to install for this machine. Also tried Blag60001,LAMPPIX and Sidux ? I need the LAMP server running on that machine.

try a mainstream distribution, like centos or ubuntu.

Isn't it amazing how so many people can type "linuxpakistan.net" into their browsers but not "google.com"?

Please take a look at this and then this for Fedora.

If you have slackware or vector or sms give it a try. I know KOS [ it is LAMP server working out of the box ] may not work on this hardware out of the box with out tweaking still what error you got, if you tried ?

Hope this helps.
