need information about Asterisk server

hello.
i need to know about Asterisk server regarding configuraiton and predictive dialer....can anyone help me regarding that.

If you want help regarding voip. The best voip which i have tested and works is elastix, it is based on asterisk and has many other features available.

is it a open source?? and does it have any configuration manuals for it as i have faced much difficulties to create extensions after a successful Asterisk installation.

yes but if you go for enterprise version then u have to buy it

Elastix is opensource based on CentOS
Easy to configure, even the site has a video showing its capabilities.
