bandwidth controlling which one?

I am currently using freebsd based bandwidth shaper (dummynet:ipfw). I am now thinking to try altq:pf as dummunet delay the traffic and increase latency.

My purpose is to shape (assigned) bandwidth based on ip addresses not prioritize the traffic based on protocols.

I want to know for which metod is best for high volume and more powerfull.

Hi azfar,

I suggest if you use Mikrokit device that is hardware base.

Another suggestion is if you use openbsd for that purpose that also looks good, do some research on that.
