Installing linux in apple power book

hope u all will be fine.. can any one tell me how to install the linux in apple powerbook... i have got apple powerbook G3 which version of linux will be best for it ????

i knew linux YellowDog .. it does support Apple hardware. and it also support duleboot with Mac X panther....
i was worry about if i can install redHat 9 on Apple iMac or PowerBook..
