my server ip is
my user ip range is in between to
i am using multinet DSL and my circuit is 64kbps uploading and 128kbps downloading.

my question is how to set delay_pool in my squid.conf for fastest interactive browsing on my client pc's as well as some delay option for files download etc. exe.dat.avi.mpeg etc. with different download speed.

why do you cross post in multiple threads? Its against the ettiquettes. Take care of that in the future. Also is the best resource and ofcourse the inline comments in the squid.conf file are pretty self explanatory.

if ur using RH8 no need to Compile Ur squid again u can use the same squid.conf file and apply the delay_pools in it . It'll work delay_pools defines the certain bandwidth to users it doesnt have ne thing wid the best Performance at client side yeah u can restrict the users to use the particular amount of bandwidth assigned to each user,
