ACCIDENTALY LOST GRUB

I accidentally restored my partition with dos command

fdisk /mbr

now is there a way to reinstall grub withiout going through all the hastle of running RH8 setup.

IN this article i explained how to uninstall lilo and install grub.Since you dont have any linux bootloader now, and you only have the windows bootloader, so you can read from the "Installing grub " part

AS stated in the article, you can either install grub or you can use a third party bootloader like bootmagic which can be instaled through windows and is much easier for newbies.

If you choose to install grub, then boot from linux cd in rescue mode.Then to install grub, follow the instructions in my article.

If you choose to install a windows based bootloader like bootmagic to boot windows and linux, then just install bootmagic from windows.
