During first time:
After chrooting into edit directory, I did not customized the new environment, I was thinking that as the required codecs and softwares are already installed so no need to install them again, thats why the new iso image was as dumb as the original iso.
During second time:
After chrooting into edit directory, I did this;

Code: Select all

mkdir hello
mount -t ext3 /dev/sda5 hello
cp -rf hello/etc/apt/sources.lst /etc/apt
cp -rf /var/cache/apt/archives/*.deb /var/cache/apt/archives
apt-get update && apt-get install nvidia-glx-new kubuntu-restricted-extras whatever_package_required
umount hello
mount -t ext3 /dev/sda6 hello
cp hello/home/alpha/pics/wallpaper* /usr/share/wallpapers/
umount hello

Then I followed the guide from where I left.
P.S. I was also thinking about to add xmms (from source), my modem driver (with its script in boot process), kickoff menu, some themes but I had to cut off my process upto these few applications because lack of time.
