lolzzz.. yes you can use fedora as it will remove you alot of problems and you will be able to use yum to install almost any software as well. so make your life easy now.

lakin boss aik baat or pochna thi kah jaisay hum isa main cache set kartay hain or us ka schedule bhi bana daitay hain kah falan time cache disable kar kay net per ja kar page jo expire ya puranay hain unhain update kar dai . woh chees yahan kaisay apply kar saktay hain .means cache ko daily basis per kaisay update kia ja sakta hain ?

keep each and every thing just put your allow rule under this line

# INSERT YOUR OWN RULE(S) HERE TO ALLOW ACCESS FROM YOUR CLIENTS

http_access allow yournetwork

it will work

do not change linux just fix your problem once you done with it than change your linux to latest version but in latest version the squid configuration is little but different than this version of squid that you are using in this redhat release
