Remote Desktop Monitoring

Postby mudasir » Mon Feb 09, 2009 2:22 pm

AOA,

Please tell me some good remote desktop monitoring software. Like in office environment to watch their employees what they are doing.

I know in windows i was able to do this using VNC, but when i setup VNC server on linux it shows a seperate desktop not the one in which user is doing any work.
Kind Regards

Question is how you can install VNC Server on Remote Computer ?

If you can install it then you can configure it with remote desktop sharing option.

and even if they don't run gnome on their desktop, you can use x11vnc instead of vncserver to share the desktop.
Watch out for the Manners Taliban!
Isn't it amazing how so many people can type "linuxpakistan.net" into their browsers but not "google.com"?
