Mrtg Configuration

Postby Burhan » Thu Jan 20, 2011 10:43 am

Salam

I want to configure MRTG for specific ports of switch. Please guide me. Snmpwalk is working and getting MIBs from that switch. Also getting a graph from cfgmaker but its only get graph of vlan1. Not of whole switch ports.

why you are not using cacti

Just install debain and issue the following command

apt-get install cacti

enable snmp on your devices which you want to monitor and add it in your cacti web interface and you are ready to go
Cheers :)
