Postby mohdali2 » Fri Nov 14, 2003 3:34 pm

I have two users on linux machine one is root and
the other is for copying CD's which is cdcopy.

Now I would like to stop the modzilla access to cdcopy
user, the modzilla icon should not be seen in the
cdcopy user.

Thanks in advace.

well, i guess you could change the permissions for mozilla and only let the root user run the program.

'#: chown root mozilla'
'#: chgrp root mozilla'

'#: chmod 744 mozilla'

or do the above on the mozilla directory with the -R (recursive) flag.

but, perhaps someone can figure a better way, I just woke up so I'm probably not giving you the best answer.

Great Answer Jargon....But I think he can also do that Job by using Linux Access Control Lists
