why is that shaper distributed as a binary application? do not download and run random binaries off the internet! that's the easiest way for someone to gain access to your system, especially if you run the apps as root.

ask the author of the application for help or the source code. don't use it until you know what it does.

in its documentation there is no procedure of how to install it..

why not you switch to freebsd its much easier in it.

he has to learn new things but its so easy no need to install thirdparties just recompile the kernel and start throtling.
