Dear,

I dont know about FAX but i can help you out in Asterisk PBX system.
First thing is to calculate the call load. Do you want to receive calls over PTCL lines or just want to connect the offices and allow them to call each one for free.

If you want to receive calls over PTCL lines, for that you will first need to calculate call load, then buy specific hardware as per the call load. Then we can continue to setup asterisk for the scenario.

If you want only to connect the offices with each other and allow voice communication between then by providing specific extensions to each employee, for this we will first need to design a scenario (do you need to record all calls made, approximately how many calls could be made at a time, etc).

Try Trixbox, that is very easy to configure and to get started. You will find allot of help related to trixbox on google.

Dear,

Currently our Karachi office have 10 phones lines which also includes one sim card installed in the Panasonic PABX. Currently we have almost Rs 30,000/per month calling to mobile and landlines.

For Lahore office we have 05 phone lines and we have almost Rs 12,000/per month calling to mobile and landlines.

I would like to know the hardware requirements, network bandwidth and where to buy this product and how much ROI of this VOIP product will give to our business.

Dear,

A Core2Quad with 4GB RAM and 160GB HDD will be good for you. However the FXO Card which will be used to attach your hardlines to your server will be a bit expensive, for this i can prefer you to use a local SIP Provider like telecard or any other, they can also lower your calling expense.

There can be many other scenarios that can be implemented but only you can understand which will be the best for your organization.
