Linux Install Package Creation

Postby n3m3sis » Fri Sep 17, 2004 8:50 am

Hi,

You all know how Linux packages come, with a configure script which tests the systems configurations, Makefile which lets you do make, which compiles the project and make install, which installs the project to your system.

I want to create such an installation package for my first Complete Open Source software, The project currently is in the form of a KDevelop Project. And I am releasing only source packages, because I do not know how to make the install packages.

The Project can be accessed from
https://sourceforge.net/projects/qtmd5summer/
