Urdu font for Linux

hi, can any one help me out how i create urdu font for linux is any software available for that like FONTLAB(for windows) .. please help me out.Actually i m working on text editor i m already embeded arbci fone but in i want to make some urdu font i used QT Designers if anyone know please tell how i do that

May I suggest that you check first the tutorial at PakType and also check their archives at yahoo group including files. This will answer most of your questions.

If you have already done that then please be more specific about what problem you are having.

While this is proper place at LinuxPaksitan but once you have learned the basics the best place to post any Font problem related to any Arabic Script Based Language is Paktype Mailing list. Yes! :) that list is monitered by majority of professionals . Very low traffic [ you can read online also ] and you are guranteed to receive help [ do not expect spoon feeding :) though some time Lateef may do that provided he has time ], give it a try.
