Please i will be much grateful to anyone again on the forum :) ,who can please tell me how to IMPLEMENT VOIP in linux using JAVA??? Please can anyone just give me a heads on start,or some specific guidelines to carry on.Or some book manual,references,websites,forums to consult too for this voice communications over LAN in JAVA( and portable to LINUX environment). :?: :idea:

I can show you only the way. that is that you have to use java.net sockets and JMF http://java.sun.com/products/java-media ... index.html. this is the url which will help you using JMF.
i my self need a software over lan for voice communicatin(voip) but i ignored it.

VoIP is based on Voice protocols developed by ITUT... which standard protocol do u wana implement to make VoIP application ??

u can make it by implementing H.323,SIP,MGCP,CISCO(SCCP) etc etc

what protocol do u want ?
