I am surprised that there is no existing topic here for ODBC and no built in support for ODBC in linux.

easysoft.com
odbcodbcbridge

I just installed freetds by compiling it normaly, configure freetds.conf, export few paths then do a test by running tsql utility and it work.

But when I try to install DBD::ODBC by cpan it return an error

"I cannot find an ODBC driver manager that I recognize ...And I know about these drivers:
Microsoft ODBC, adabas, easysoft, empress, esodbc, informix,
intersolve, iodbc, sapdb, solid, udbc, unixodbc"

Now what to do.

Ok guys I have sucesfully installed and configured FreeTDS and unixODBC. Tests were goes possitive.

But now I am facing another problem that still DBD::ODBC module is not installing and giving long list of errors.

Is there some one to tell me the exact how to. I mean how many and which paths to export before installing it.

Thanks all for help.
