Linux means productivity and fun.
We all love Linux, but it's also a fact that some people might not be able to migrate.

I use OfflineIMAP. It's pretty flexible about which folders you download.

do you need to put the messages on the web? you'll need something like a mail archive manager, maybe like mhonarc. or do you want to put the mailboxes on the web? if so, how? do you want some webmail software?

here is the direct link to it
http://sourceforge.net/projects/migrationtool/

its very simple and easy to setup but I dont know why its not working. You can test it in 5 minutes. The only thing you must have php-imap extention installed but its needed once after software work properly.

my guess is you need to make some directory writable, or have it write to the .sh file in /tmp.

azfar, I think you're mixing up the two things. There are 2 steps involved here

1. Migrating the mailboxes
2. Exposing the migrated boxes on the web

For 1., you need some tool like the one you picked or offlineimap, etc.

After step 1 is completed, you can expose the mailbox using squirrelmail or any of the other webmail clients.

I am not mixing any thing. I want to migrate mailboxes from one server to another via imap and which can be done by end user and for that I have only one choice i-e web application. thats why i choose imap migration tool. I do not want to expose these mailboxes i have already running squirrelmail on both old and new server.

As far as permision issue apcahe user already have write right on .sh file directory.
