Python programmers invited

Postby MSaadat » Sat Jan 27, 2007 10:55 am

Hello,
I am developing a simple editor for the Urdu language. It uses Python/gtk. Anyone who wants to join the project is welcome.
Project page: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pyurduedit

Thanks.

why not? you don't want to contribute to the free software community (which has served you very well for free)?

on a related note, how much will you pay to have your technical questions answered in this forum? we all would love to answer your questions, but not for free.

Salam,
I am shocked, really. PyUrduEdit is free software and I am getting nothing working on it.

And even if I had any technical questions I would have better asked them in Python/GTK forums/irc and not here.

MSaadat:
lambda's post wasn't for you. It was a simple question asked from dawood.muslim. Most of us work for opensource and free community using free OS.

Don't get shocked, you completely misunderstood lambda's reply.

BTW: He is python guru.

There is hell of difference between answering questions and working on a project. You got that?

heh, looks like i struck a nerve!

so, tell us, dawood. why are you content to use free software, but not contribute to the community for free? it sounds very selfish to take and not give in return.
