borland kylix 3 freeze on redhat 9 ????

borland kylix 3 freeze on redhat 9 ????

Assalam walaikum...


I having a very bad time using Kylix in my new installation of Red Hat 9 and using kernel version 2.4.20-6

I installed RH9 yesterday and installed borland Kylix3 trial version which is enterprise, but when i when i lauch delphi and compile the app it freezes...the app is still there, but when i try to open a proyect the open dialog feezes the app.

and 2nd one
is that when i try to compile using C++, very rarely in this installation, Kylix stops at the compiling of time.h ¿?

Kylix3 tryal is all messed up in my RH9 distro.

Im sure you guys help me out.looking forward for your kind response.

why are you using redhat 9? can't you use fedora core, or ubuntu, or anything else?

redhat 9 became obsolete several years ago!

dear brother I know and I dont want to demolish my redhat because it been long im using it i dont remember the exact year :).so I dont want to go for the new system and build it from scratch.kind tell me the solution for that.looking forward for your kind help.
