Distro Project - KarachiOS

Post by mahin_pk »

On the 60th Independence day of Pakistan, LinuxPakistan Distro Project Team is pleased to make public its work on KarachiOS project.

With Anjum Butt [ LinuxPakistan ID: Anjum Butt ] leading the developers / contributors now with the grace of God we have a working custom distro based upon Debian sid tailored to our needs.

At present we have single CD based distro booting as Live Distro with option for easy install. Live CD will work as workstation only while upon installation on Hard Disk LAMP server is working out of the box.

Details about packages, download location will be posted by Anjum Butt.

Members interested in joining the KarachiOS developers/contributors/testers team may post their willingness here, send a PM or an email.
