I rcvd so many replied for this post. i know, iknow, u all want this. ok come on one by one.
i know i am in maldives. but i have so many links in PAKISTAN. basically i am PROUD Pakistani. i have no commercial office in pakistan. i am same like u. but i want to do some thing DIFFERENT....just for pakistaneess.

basically its from sattalite connection u still want some ISP uplink connection which i available i think in 1500/- to 2000/- DDP account.
one 8 FT special dish cost round about 5000/-Rs., KU band LNB cost 550/-Rs., Cable at i think 15/- Rs. per FT., B2C2 DVB card Cost 7500/- and Installation 1500/-Rs.

So finally its round about 15000/- one time cost and after installation pay 2500/- per month for 512kbps bandwidth for 1GB.

And i mean it. your users will PAGAL. and u can grow your business also with more users.

second, its depend on your downloading. if you downloading so much i mean 1GB in one night. u can still getting from 0kbps to 1MBps whole month. that mean u still in profit. u loose nothing.

dont u understand, this idea is also for SUPPORT your cablenet or for your cafe business. this is just as unit (2500/-permonth). if u want whole month 512kbps pay 20k and get 8GB per month. ok u do one thing get all isp list from apniisp.com and ask all of them how much they charge for 512kbps for whole month. answer is above 1lac.
so, if you spend 2500/- per month and make schedule on you server for start this service when u have soooooo much load or in the evening time or at the end of month. so then INSHA ALLAH u dont loose your clients. this is just an idea yaar. and listen carefully I AM NOT SERVICE PROVIDER as i already told u i am also like u but i always done my researches on then net daily 4 hours (from 2am to 6am).
also please dont mind of my words if you hurt. i know so many ppl who pay above 30k for dsl or ivs. but now a days they are spending just 10k to 15k per month. good na. yaar, try to make all pakistani happy, not confused. as u c there r so many problems always on our heads.

I agree with outhanger...marion, a useless offer in my opinion.. no body will be willing to pay 2500 Rs for 4 hours of good service and fyi the load on cablenets is 1000 times higher than this merre 2.5 k offer can handle..better do your maths first

well i have my own network consultancy firm and working in pakistan's top linux support company ,,,well i have worked alot on satellite connection and have a vast experience of it well guyz satellite connection totally depends uppon the axis and location of satellite , here in karachi we have a draw back that we comes on the last axis of its coverage so when ever thers a sligh climate variation the sugnals suddenly drops,

And as far as offering 512kb ..then honeslt i have never experience of such speed in actual on satellite giving any comany ..here they sel l128k and gives around 64 or sometime 56kbps

Another thing that i must tell to non technical persons that for having a satelllite conection you would also have to purchase a DDP uplink from a local ISP and downlink from satellite as well...so now tell isnt dial-up far more better for home user....

its better to take ISDN then satellite or DSL line

you need to work with better companies, then. a client is using 2.5mbit on one (burstable to higher), and a friend's company is using over 1mbit for some other provider.

Another thing that i must tell to non technical persons that for having a satelllite conection you would also have to purchase a DDP uplink from a local ISP and downlink from satellite as well...so now tell isnt dial-up far more better for home user....

i'm having trouble parsing your sentences, but at least one isp's offering 128kbit dsl for less than rs 4k/mo. good enough for the uplink?

i have a sattalite and i m a cable OP 512kb/s cost me 13,500 for the whole month. so if i do the math in ur deal i m in a lost
and yes 512Kb/s Sattalite is nss4 is u guyz thinking which company is giving me .

so i recommend not to buy it
