Calling all linux fans in multan

guys we are thinking about meetingup on this friday / saturday , if you'r intrested , kindly pm me , or reply me in this thread, we'll just hangout , talk about linux ( thats the least we can do right? ) :p , anyways , will try to solve out problems if anyone's facing any and yeah , we'll also take up distro demand @ meeting.

I know it's a little late *cough* but i thought i should let you guys know. So, this proposed Multan meetup did take place and i really enjoyed it. I don't know what, but i enjoyed it. It was a small gathering... okay... very small consisting of just 4 guys, including me. And one of them was Uppal's cousin which he dragged along(i saw that on his face!) just because we would be more embarrassed if only 3 guys showed up. Anyways, we talked about Linux on Enterprise, HPC, Deploying Clusters, Deploying SANs, Other Open Source Solutions, some Linux distributions..... but i just remember that Linux distributions part and couple of other things which i am afraid i can't post over here. The meeting lasted for like 40-45 minutes after which we all went home(duh).

But seriously, we should do this more often. I don't know why people don't show intrest... meetups are just so cool.

P.S: I just look fat in these pictures... i am not that fat!

Yes fadian you are right that short haired guy is not that FAT ....
BTW i realy enjoyed the pictures watching few friends to whom we have never seen but heared alot on LP.I request if we can get pics of such meeting it would be great

another thing you should have ordered some thing for that third person sitting with you ..no matters if he did n't bring the LP tax ?

I thought my photoblog ws safely tucked away in the deep dark corners but hats off to FADAIN for bringing it out into the limelight of fame.

You guys should have one person in charge of arranging these meetings (most likely the one who can afford to make the most phone calls and can be punctual about them). Collect the contact information for people in your city who are interested and put it on the wiki. Next, decide a meeting schedule. 2 weeks before the meeting date, post a message on the forum reminding about it and collect RSVPs. Bother the hell out of people who don't RSVP.
