rpm won't install on linux 9.0

i have downloaded the binary rpm's from freshrpm.net but they won't install on redhat 9.0 when i run these rpms the instaling window appear and after showing "processing headers" and "reading individual pakage header" it just diappear and nothing hapen's. is it beacause of redhat 9.0 does not support them or some thing alse. on the site main page thay talked about gpg key but i don't know what to do with it.
there are also source rpm's but i don't know how to compile them to binary rpm's

well the smart thing to do would be to at least show us the filename of the rpms you are trying to installing, checking whether they really are for redhat 9.0, and pasting the error message/contents from the term. window.

goto shell #
# rpm -ivh software.rpm
i=install
v=verbose mode
h=print hashes

it will also tell about the problem

It is always recommended that you install the rpms using the console rpm command..rpm -Uvh filename.rpm is the best bet.
