Assalamualaikum,
We are having a hard time in finding a replacement of a Primary Win2k Domain Controller (Active Directory) for logging users in a LAN, any hints ?

If u ppl want to replace Alien OS (like WIN2000 Server) to Linux (Brave Heart) there are many options
I use samba (easy) for this purpose... I successfully use many Services (like Networklogin, FileSharing) not all for 2 weeks (only testing and learning purpose) after that i didn't use it.. but it's very easy... see Using Samba is best book for implementation of samba (User Level and Shared Level)...
Inshallah if i got time i do configure a small network and send the configuration file to u...
